We stopped by the hotel and refreshed a bit and then were on our way to find somewhere to eat. One of the places Laura had recommended was Fang's. We found them, but they weren't open until 5 pm. I thought it was much later than that with as hungry as I was, but alas it was only 3 pm.
We decided to find the supermarket in the meantime and get some bottled water in preparation for making Kaylee's bottles and for us to drink. We walked around quite a bit taking in the sights and then found the Wellcome Supermarket.
We enjoyed seeing the various American products including Budweiser (we won't even discuss the born on date) and neat new products like canned wine.
After dropping off our purchases at the hotel, we headed back to Fang's for a wonderful dinner. We had a "snack" of steamed shrimp & pork dumplings and Troy had cashew chicken and I had shrimp and peas. All of the food was excellent and we hope to eat there another night this week. We could have easily shared our entree after eating those dumplings. YUM!
