Although we gathered for a sad occasion, it was nice to be with all our family and celebrate the life of Grandpa Dangerfield through hymns, scripture reading and remembrances. We had a candlelighting ceremony to represent the legacy of those remaining and I was honored to light a candle for Kaylee, one of Grandpa's 8 great-grandchildren.
It was nice to see the cousins playing together later that evening and to know that Kaylee will soon be joining such a wonderful family.
