Free Stuff for Kaylee

We joined the Families with Children from China Group last week (actually I signed us up and Troy didn't know it.) On Monday I got a broadcast email asking if anyone needed a high chair and crib. We already have a beautiful crib, but were interested in the high chair.

I contacted the family to see how much they were asking and to ask a few questions about the item. They called me back this morning and said since we were a member of the group they would give us the high chair.

Being small vehicle challenged, we had to get our friend Josh to help us pick-up the high chair. They also gave us a stroller. Both items are very nice and in great condition. AND THEY WERE FREE!!!! How bout that!! :)

What a great day. I just know we'll be getting that call soon!

You'll be adding whatever you can stuff and carry back from your journey out here!!! We have a beautiful wooden rocking chair, but I don't think it will fit in your suitcases! Ha, ha! We now have seven large boxes of toys, clothes, books, baby "flight suit", and other baby/kids accessories for you to go through! We also have a very expensive rocking horse, with galloping and neighing sounds available, if you like...Kaylee will have everything a princess needs!

Tammy--

E-mail me! I really do have fabric for your quilt. It is from the material my mom used to make Alex's curtains. I just need to know how much you need. We would also love to get together with you!

Hi Tammy,

This is Sarah, from Chosen Families. Just a reminder that you can send me the Chinese name you were asking about so I can check the gender (I just saw one of our Chinese grad students and it reminded me). My email is: shamersm@gmail.com
If by any chance you have a way of sending me a link to the actual Chinese characters (versus the English translation) that would probably be good too.

Hope to hear good news of your referral soon!
