We celebrated seats on the Eva plane with a margarita and some Mexican. Our flight leaves at midnight and should arrive at 6 am Sunday. This brings our travel time to 36 hours.
The Eva airplane is huge. The deluxe section seats 8 across. This is my first experience in anything other than coach and it is NICE. We get hot towels, slippers, footrest, quilts, and leg room - what a great way to end this day. The first class section is upstairs - can't imagine what that looks like.
They feed us well. Just had beef with mashed potatoes and gravy for dinner. Plane doesn't leave until 1:30 am, which extends our travel time again....but we will not complain, as I'm so thankful to be on this plane!
We just crossed the international date line, so it is officially Sunday. We have 7 hours and 45 minutes left until touchdown in Taiwan. It's so weird - I have no idea what time of day it is and whether it's day or night. It's completely dark outside and most everyone is sleeping....other than me obviously.
