I talked with Kaylee's pediatrician tonight and she reviewed Kaylee's latest stats. She is at the 50th percentile in weight, 75th percentile in length (grow, grow, grow) and slightly less than 50th percentile in head circumference. She said they all looked good and she was growing well.
She also noticed the red splotches on Kaylee's face and said she wasn't concerned at this point and that Asian babies are prone to skin irritations.
She would like to examine Kaylee within a few days of us returning home. She wants to look at her and also check out her immunization records to determine if we need to redo them. She will be out of the country 12/28-1/8, so we may have to end up seeing a different pediatrician in her group initially. They have just been so wonderful in helping us review her records. She will not give or recommend any medications for Kaylee, being so young, for our flight home and just encouraged me to keep repeating "this too shall pass." She did tell us to take plenty of diapers, several changes of clothes and lots of toys to distract her.
