Fun with Alex

Yes, Alex Bleeker, there's another Alex in my life :)

We had a wonderful time getting to know Jay, Jennifer & Alex better this evening at dinner at their home. We heard of Jay & Jennifer through our Chosen Families Adoption Group and then later learned they were also members of our church. Alex came home from Russia recently.

We had a great time getting to know them better and Alex was minus his famous communist scowl. He kept patting my leg, which Jennifer said he does to people he likes. By the end of the evening he joined Troy and I on the couch and sat on our laps. We even got to meet their cute boxer Henry and got a glimpse of their cat Lizzie.

After Alex said night-night and went to bed. Jay demonstrated the hokey pokey Elmo. We hope to get a chance to see Alex dancing with his furry friend next time.

Just another great couple we've been fortunate enough to meet through our adoption journey! Unfortunately, they may be moving soon....so I told Jennifer we could not be friends. Just kidding :)
