More Paperwork

I ordered our Taiwan/US Flag lapel pins we will be using with our family announcements. I also typed up some labels and will see how they fit on the invitation we’re using.

We still don't have our agency caseworker assigned....hopefully soon so we can start on their paperwork.

I faxed the medical letter from FHSA to my doctor’s office and then called and talked with Bonnie to see if the Dr. would sign it. She said he had done them before and it was a pretty benign letter, but I could check back at 4:30 pm. I called back at 4:30 and talked with another lady in the office and she said I had to come in for an appointment. I was pretty snippy with her as the letter is so general and he has been my doctor for 15 years….At least I was able to get an appointment for 4/20.

I also got my letter of employment signed by my boss – and thankfully no questions asked.

Troy contacted GPD and requested our local background checks. The first 10 pages are free, so hopefully we don’t have that many pages :)

Nice surprise when I got home – a giant box from New Hope!!! It is a BIG 3” binder and video, which covers 7 of our education hours. I called our rep to ask her a few questions and she is our caseworker. We have to have 10 of our education hours done before we can get on the waiting list. I asked her how many people are on the waiting list for Program II and she said it is growing, so we should get done as soon as possible. I’m glad I called her, because she said we could do the online classes and not have to pay the $30 each for the printed certificates. Merely have to answer the questions on the education form. I did tell her I would be seeing my Doctor on 4/20 and if there was any other documentation, which his office seems to think there is. She said she would email me the photo requirement pages and the medical letter as well. Our dossier package should be mailed in the next few days.

We're making progress!
