Yesterday we celebrated our last Christmas without Kaylee. We had her referral photo with us to feel like she was a part of the festivities.
We had a great time with Nanny opening presents. I got the most thoughtful gifts from Troy and Mom and Dad - a pearl necklace and earrings in honor of Kaylee's birthstone. Definitely shed some tears over those. They are beautiful!
We decided to open Kaylee's presents, as we were uncertain how long our tree would survive and when we'd finally recover enough after our trip to open them. She got lots of great gifts including a gator warmup suit and stuffed gator. Shera had to check out the presents to make sure everything was ok.
