Daycare Tour

We had an appointment with the Church's Education Director to tour the daycare today at lunch. When we first walked up, we saw quite a few kids playing outside on the playground and were happy to see a good international mix. We later learned one of the teachers speaks Mandarin, which was a nice added bonus.

We toured all of the various rooms for different aged children and spent the most time in the Little Quackers room for children under 1. They expect to have a baby spot available in January.

We are fortunate to have associated with our church one of the few daycares in Gainesville that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. They have an arts-based curriculum with an emphasis on learning school readiness and literacy.

I'm hoping a spot will be available when we are ready to place Kaylee. I'm excited about the thought of having her start her education in our church
