We had a great time at the Families with Children From China Ice Cream Social Saturday night. We enjoyed our single scoops of Gator Crunch and Butter Finger Ice Cream, while meeting a lot of great people who are in the process of adopting or have completed an adoption from China.
It was great seeing all the little Chinese girls enjoying themselves and we were happy to see our favorite Korean baby Rowan (from our other adoption group). It was especially cute to see a
few little girls greet each other with big hugs and then one of them asked what their names were.There are 40 families in the group and quite a few of them belong to a subgroup of waiting families. We will try to make a potluck dinner later in the month for just the waiting families.
