I went to Pilates after work and then to Troy's basketball game and when I got in the car to go to the store I had a voice mail from our adoption agency that they had a healthy baby girl for us if we were interested and would wait for our call before calling the next couple.
I cannot tell you how excited I was by that message. Unfortunately, she is 10 months old and Troy reminded me we want a younger baby. Being 10 months old at referral, would probably make her 16 months old by the time we brought her home. Twice as old as we were hoping for.
Troy was certain we should say no, while I was waffling....it was a healthy baby girl....I sure hope we know when it's our daughter. Luckily I didn't look at any photos and Troy made the phone call.
Oh well, I'm sure our Kaylee call will be coming soon. Stay tuned!

At first I was like what why would you not scoop that baby up. Looking back though I remember Zachary went through his most bonding stages (if there really is a most bonding stage) at 8 months so I think that is a good decision. Anyway it is great to know that you are so close.

I'm sure that you will know when it is Kaylee, although I'm sure that this was a difficult decision. But it's great that they are already calling you.
