I received some further clarification from another adoption group buddy who contacted the agency directly and they will continue to serve those with referrals - which doesn't include Troy and I, since we only made it to the waiting list. They are trying to find another agency to take their clients who are on the waiting list.
This is all quite shocking considering we have not even been notified of this situation and only happen to get it through our own personal contacts. The agency said letters were mailed out earlier this week, but we have not received it.
I, of course, will contact the agency so I can get firsthand information, but looks like a giant roadblock has just been laid in our path. Any prayers would be appreciated as we try to figure out what to do.

lifting prayers for you two. If you already are on the waiting list maybe you will be able to use our agency. Florida Home Studies and Adoption. They have been great with us.
They did our homestudy - Lisa was awesome! - and I contacted them, and 2 other agencies today to see what it would take to go with them.
Aren't you in Jax? Maybe we could meet for lunch when we ever get our FBI fingerprinting appt.??
First off Lisa was awesome. And yes we are in Jax. Maybe we can meet for lunch. The only prob is I work m-f 7a-3p. I had to take a day off to get fingerprinted. But let me know maybe we can work something out.
I'll let you know when we come through. We will wait probably until we select our next agency to make our appointment. We will have to take a day off work to do it, but it will be worth it.
