Just heard from our social worker that our fully-official notarized homestudy has been overnighted to the CIS office. Our copies (one of which will go to Taiwan and one will be used for readoption process in US) are also on their way to our home.
Hopefully the CIS will approve our homestudy and send us our appointment card for our FBI fingerprinting session soon.

YAY!!!!!! One more thing done...doesn't it feel great.
Feels awesome - any idea how long Jax will take to contact us with appointment?
okay, I searched all our paperwork so I could give you an exact number, but for some reason I can't find it all. We mailed our application Feb.28th, rec'd a letter on March 9th. stating that they rec'd our app and the processing could be like 90 days.. Ignore that, they send it to everyone. The next letter will tell you to come get fingerprinted. It must have come about a week later because we got fingerprinted March 24 and I'm not one to sit on things. The appoint. letter isn't an exact date, it just gives the hours and days they are open then you just go in and it's first come first serve. We spent about an hour and a half there and we got there pretty early.
Great - thanks for the paperwork search :) Sounds like we should get an appointment letter soon. We sent our application in in April and already got a letter saying not to contact them unless we hadn't heard from them until September.
I appreciate your details.
