Sanibel, Mucky Duck & More

Spent the morning getting my ribs ready for the Troy & Tammy dinner tonight. That way I can relax the rest of the day and all that's left to do is for Troy to grill the ribs.

We went to one of the beaches in Sanibel to look for shells, but not as many good ones there. Besides, you had to pay to park by the hour. We spent an hour or so there and then went to the Mucky Duck. Had to buy a t-shirt, of course. Had our picture taken on a GIANT chair (a la Lily Tomlin) and a very hot toad.

Grandma Jane bought Kaylee her first present - a little pink shirt with "Captiva" on it since that's where she first heard about her. She made us promise to mail it over in the first package.

Went back home and to Captiva beach - VERY windy today. Walked all the way to Mucky Duck and back and then equidistant the other way. Did find some shells. It's amazing the difference God can make in the beach overnight. There was a huge shelf of sand that was not there yesterday. Very powerful.

Now everyone's relaxing by the very hot pool (the hottub heater was left on over night) They have gone to get some bags of ice to try to cool it down.

We'll play some washers tonight and eat our ribs outside by the pool. Boy, I love the beach!!
