Homestudy Visit!

Coffee’s brewed and the smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls is in the air. Lisa was right on time at 9:30 am. We spent 2 ½ hours answering questions about our upbringing, our previous marriages, each other…..and went through A LOT of paperwork. Lisa had everything organized and gave us a nice numbered checklist – only 27 items to get! I thought we would be interviewed individually separately, but we were actually interviewed separately together. Lisa made us feel very much at ease and we think the interview went very well. Shera (our 17 year old deaf kitty) insisted on participating in the interview for some time and wanted to provide her input. Luckily, Lisa didn’t mind.

We got our requests for our DCF and FDLE background checks in the mail today. 2 of the 4 background checks we need. We also need to do one from FBI and local police department.
