CIS Labyrinth

Reading over the I-600A application again I noticed that we need to check with our suboffice to see what types of payment they accept. Jacksonville doesn’t accept personal checks. I was unsure of the amount to send (whether to include the fingerprinting fee as well) and Troy called the office. Apparently, it’s a pretty cumbersome phone system, but he finally managed to get a live person. She said they accept personal checks now, but the policy changes so safer to get a cashier’s check or money order. I got the cashier’s check at lunch - $8 fee for that. We’ll get our package in the mail tomorrow.

Hopefully we'll be assigned our adoption agency caseworker next week.
